Yesterday in the office, after the second text I received about Selling OC from a Newport client, I decided to put on about five minutes of the show and watch a little bit of the first episode with Danny. Well, wow……not sure there are the right words to say here, other than that it is not the real estate I know after almost 20 years in the business, nor is that the Newport Beach I know and have been raised in represented.
Being a member of the Balboa Bay Club, an iconic Newport Beach Club, Jen and I drove down there a few weeks ago and sat around and chatted about various topics. It seems appropriate to post about Newport today. I love where I live; its rich history, its schools, and the weather.
There are two sides of the Bay, one which borders Costa Mesa and Huntington Beach; we commonly refer to it as Newport/Mesa; that’s the side I live on. Since it borders Costa Mesa, where Jen also lives, Jen shares a little bit about what she loves about Costa Mesa today.
P.S. Although TV is fun to watch and always entertaining, pretty sure that is not the “Reality” of Newport if you catch the show.
