Last week I sat down with one of my great friends, Chris Chudacoff. Although the goal was to talk about real estate, we got a little bit personal as well. I am not someone who likes to talk about myself, but through a little encouragement from Chris, here we go.
Growing up, my relationship with “home” was complicated. Raised by a hardworking single mom for a lot of my life, we faced our share of challenges, including an abusive stepfather and financial instability. By the time I was 15, we had lived in 11 different houses and faced eviction and late rent multiple times.
Through it all, I learned something powerful: a home is so much more than just four walls. It’s a source of safety, stability, and identity. Those early experiences are why I’m so passionate about real estate today. Helping others find their place to call home isn’t just a job for me—it’s a deeply personal mission.
I understand what it means to have a home that truly matters, and that’s why I pour everything I have into helping my clients. As we approach the season of giving, I am eternally grateful.
